What tools do we need before we get started?
To automate community management, we need several capable assistants, as follows:
Tool 1: Automation ToolsMake.com
This is our main automation artifact, using Make.com, we can connect various platforms and tools without writing a single line of code.
As a lazy person, I love it so much!
However, this tool currently supports English, but don’t worry, I will teach you step by step how to do it later!
Tool 2: Search Assistant Perplexity
This is the most powerful AI search engine on the market today. You can find the latest information and data through it, and you no longer have to worry about outdated content!
Tool 3: AI copywriting ChatGPT/ Claude
You can choose one of them. These two AI masters can help you generate different content, such as press releases and copywriting. It is like your personal writer, ready for you at any time!
Tool 4:database spreadsheet
We first use Google sheet as the management database.
In the future, if you want to find new news or read completed copywriting, you can just find it here!
With these tools in hand, we can start automating our social postings!

Implementation: Create a daily Facebook and IG automatic posting system in 30 minutes
Now we have to get started. The most important thing to do in AI automation is to first dismantle our workflow:
Process analysis of automated content production
First, let’s break down the steps required for our publishing system.
- Pick trending news and post it to a Google spreadsheet: Open your favorite news site and pick the news you find interesting.
- Use Perplexity to simplify news content: You want Perplexity to generate a concise news summary.
- Use ChatGPT or Claude to create social posts: We hope that ChatGPT or Claude can paste the summary generated by Perplexity, and then let AI help generate a customized social post.
- Post back to Google Spreadsheet Management: We want to be able to see all of our output posts at a glance in the spreadsheet.
It can’t be too difficult! With just a few simple steps, you can turn an ordinary piece of news into engaging social content~
Where automated content is produced:Make.com
Now, let’s meet our automation best friend – Make.com. This powerful tool can help us fully automate the above steps.
Don’t worry, I will show you how to do it step by step so that you can understand it at a glance!
- Go to Make.com and create an account
2. Create a new scene (Create a Scenario):
- Click the "Create New Scene" button
- You will see a blank workspace, this is where we are going to create an automated publishing pipeline!
3. Add modules:
- You can search and add the modules you want from the right column, for example:
- ChatGPT module (used to generate social posts)
- Social platform modules (such as Facebook Pages, Instagram Business or Twitter)
Here all the tools can work closely together to form an automated workflow!
How to automate content systems?
Doesn’t the picture above look very exciting? This is my first thought before, but don’t be nervous, it’s actually very simple!
Remember our previous steps?
First find a news item, ask Perplexity to simplify the news content, and then ask ChatGPT or Claude to create a social post.
So step by step:
1. First find a piece of news and post it in the link on Google Sheet
You can make your own Google Sheet template for managing content publishing. In the future, you only need to put your favorite articles into column A of "Links".
In Make's settings, you need to select Google Sheet's "Watch new rows", which means that if there is a new value, he will observe it and send it to the next level.
2. Set up the Perplexity module to automatically summarize news:
Now we want Perplexity to simply summarize the key points of this news.
- place your Perplexity API Fill in the key into the module
- Enter something like this in the prompt field: Please summarize the following main news points for me. Provide 2-3 concise key points for each topic. Each point should not exceed 30 words. Please use objective and neutral language...
The prompts in the above prompt fields can be modified by yourself to better suit your brand tone.
As for the news source, please select "Link A" on the Google sheet on the right, and you will find the summarized news you want.
3. Set the ChatGPT or Claude module to output posts: (Here we take ChatGPT as an example)
Now we hope that ChatGPT will produce a social post for this news.
If you want to produce two articles at a time, you can set up the Router and it will divide it into two articles.
- place your ChatGPT API Fill in the key into the module
- Enter something like this in the prompt field: You are a veteran social media content creator with 5 years of copywriting experience. Please create an article suitable for posting on Facebook based on the following news summary: {{}}. The length of your article should be limited to 200-300 words. Use an attractive title. The language style should be relaxed and friendly. It should be written in Traditional Chinese and suitable for social media reading.
For summary news, please select Choice -> Message -> Content in Perplexity on the right, put Content into "Link A", and you will find the summary news you want.
4. Paste the generated content back to Google Sheet
Now we want to import the social post just now back to Google Sheet.
How to import back to Google Sheet? Please select the same spreadsheet in the Google Sheet on the right and click Row number to add it to the Cell. This will be the place we want to update!
Remember, if the content you want to update is in a column, the English letters of that column must be written in Cell first.
For example, if I want my Instagram posts to be backfilled into "column D" in Google Sheet, just type a "D" and then press Row Number!
Advanced settings: Want to schedule posts directly?
If you have trained your own prompts and want to publish them directly, you can also directly connect to social media and publish them directly!
But I don’t dare to do that yet. At most, I have to watch it once before posting hahaha~~

The automated social content is completed and the output is super fast!
Just do what I do and you will have a fully automated social content production line!
You only need to go online every day to see if there are news you like, and put it into the spreadsheet. This system will automatically summarize the latest news, generate attractive posts, wait for your review, and then publish them to various social platforms. Listen to Looks great, right?
