When preparing for an interview, some companies will require job seekers to prepare an interview briefing. However, many people do not know where to start when preparing an interview briefing to introduce themselves, or do not know how to demonstrate their abilities. This is actually a pity.
In this article, I’ll briefly explain why the brief is important and I’ll use my own interview brief as an example.
I hope it can help you how to use the designed interview briefing to attract the interviewer's attention, show your professional abilities and personal charm, and lay a good foundation for yourself during the interview.
Why is the interview briefing so important?
Before starting the interview, many interviewers will ask the job seeker to introduce themselves, and using a self-introduction briefing to assist you can actually help you stand out during the interview.
Therefore, it is very important to prepare a well-prepared self-introduction briefing. Let us continue to see why it is important to prepare a self-introduction briefing for an interview!

Make a good first impression on yourself
In an interview, first impression is very important.
You may not know it, but first impressions can impact your evaluation during an interview and your chances of admission.
So, prepare a self-introduction briefing during the interview. This will give you the opportunity to establish a good first impression during the interview.
When you carefully design your interview brief, you can attract the interviewer's attention, clearly demonstrate your professional abilities and personal charm, and lay a good foundation for yourself during the interview.
Therefore, don’t ignore the importance of a self-introduction briefing. Prepare your briefing carefully to give yourself an advantage in the workplace!
Stand out among many applicants
When you open the self-introduction interview briefing show to the interviewer, you can use pictures and videos to help demonstrate your professional abilities and characteristics, so that the interviewer can more intuitively understand what you want to express, and successfully attract the interviewer's attention. force.
At the same time, if other competitors only introduce themselves verbally, and you prepare a briefing with pictures and texts, you will stand out from the crowd!

Quickly highlight personal strengths
Interviewers usually take one or two hours out of their busy schedules to interview job applicants. How can you let the interviewer clearly understand you and what value you can bring to the company in a short period of time? At this time, the self-introduction briefing is very important! For example, if you want to let the interviewer know that offline activity planning is your specialty, you can use more space in your self-introduction briefing to describe the offline activity cases you have performed in the past, so that the interviewer can have an impression and improve your skills in the field. The probability of asking questions in this section.
Self-introduction briefing examples for interviews are released to the public
I would like to share with you the self-introduction briefing I prepared for interviews in the past. Although it is not very beautifully done, it can still be used as a reference for friends who have never done a self-introduction briefing for an interview.
Below I will briefly explain a few points to you, including the selection of templates, how to emphasize relevant experience in presentations, and how to use pictures and data display. If you have other ideas, please feel free to add them below!

Template presentation tool sharing
When making a self-introduction briefing, I recommend two websites to help you create a briefing more quickly.
PPT template

A PPT template website that I like very much is called Slidego, he has a lot of PPT templates.
This template can not only be downloaded to PowerPoint, but can also be edited directly using Google Slides on the Internet.
Online presentation template
Recently, I prefer to use Gamma to replace PPT.
Gamma is an online briefing template that can be dragged and dragged freely to produce briefings more intuitively.
It is basically presented online, and you can also download it as a PDF or PPT file.
Below I will use Gamma to present the content of my interview briefing.
If you want to play and watch Gamma, you can click here to register. I highly recommend that you play and watch:

To define: What do I want the interviewer to see?
Before I choose to create a self-introduction briefing, I will first think: "What kind of content do I want the interviewer to see?"
I would want:
- The interviewer can comfortably read my briefing and find the key points through simple headings.
- The interviewer can tell at a glance that my experience and background are diverse.
- The interviewer can know how I match the position.
Then, we can start making interview briefings based on the above needs~~
Attached here is my portfolio, you can take a look at it and read my articles at the same time:Tobie Portfolio
In response to the above requirements, I simply list the three parts I need.
- Overview of self-introduction
- Company, past work experience
- How can I bring value?
So I simply pulled out the structure of these pages.

Then, I can explain in more detail through Gamma's card.
A great thing about Gamma is that he can add cards to each page of the presentation, allowing him to keep it easy to read and full of information.
It’s a bit hard to imagine just talking about it. You can go directly to the fourth page of my portfolio.
It is like a PPT page with many foldable small cards, each of which contains its own information.
In the future, I will have the opportunity to share with you the introduction of Gamma.

1. Overview of self-introduction
Because I have a diverse background, I think these backgrounds can produce a synergistic effect, so I hope to use two pictures to represent it.
The first one is an overall self-introduction: a picture and a title, you can clearly know who I am.
The second picture is an introduction to the overall career: with three pictures and three sentences of description, you can clearly know where I am and what positions I have held.

The first picture is to introduce myself. I use the picture on the left, put an eye-catching title at the top, put a narrative, and finally put a picture to briefly explain my experience.
My title: "I can sell stories like a marketer, I can solve problems like a product manager, and I can innovate like a designer."
Let them see at a glance that I have three backgrounds in the past and what value I can bring.
2. Company and past work experience

On this page, I simply use the company's logo, name, and work content to clearly show past experience in the presentation. You can also put more charts, data, or pictures.
But I think this can make it simple and clear for everyone where you have worked. You can explain the rest later.
3. How can I bring value?

Here, you should list all the representative projects you have done and emphasize how your experience and abilities match this job.
But here I am a bit crazier.
You can refer to it, you don’t have to be the same as me.
I once had a job that I really wanted to work for, so I specifically listed out his entire job description (including job content and responsibilities).
I listed them one by one, saying which of my experiences can correspond to their needs and what value I can create.
My way is to explain it in three directions:Job content of the position, what value can i provide, Actual cases.
The logic of the entire explanation can be: first explain what background you need to do this project, such as what highlights you have in this project that are worth mentioning, and finally what good results this project has, and gradually let the interviewer know who you are. How did you lead this project?

Finally, everyone is welcome to play and see for themselves.
It is recommended to use Gamma This tool simply pulls and looks at the layout. In fact, Gamma really doesn’t spend a lot of time designing briefs.
I will write another article about Gamma later. I really love it, but I have been procrastinating for too long XD

in conclusion
The above is what I want to share with you today. Although I was not accepted into my dream job because of the salary requirements.
But I still received a letter from the Manager saying that he was very impressed, so I also want to tell everyone that doing the interview briefing is not in vain! (cry)

I hope it will be helpful to those who want to create a self-introduction briefing for an interview for the first time.
