Since I started taking on cases, I’ve spent a lot of time working at home, which has made me think about how to organize my desk at home.
Recently, I finally managed to set up my computer desk layout, and I was very happy to see it XD
Today’s article also wants to share with you how I arrange my remote work computer desk!
First, what are my needs for remote work?
Usually, before I do something, I will first want to say what I need.
Here, I’ve sorted out the requirements for my remote work desk layout:
- I need at least one primary screen and be able to switch between the two systems. (One is a computer host and the other is a laptop)
- I need a keyboard that can switch to Bluetooth and switch to a computer host or a laptop.
- I need a video camera and microphone.
- I usually use the Pomodoro Clock to plan my work, so I need a place where I can clearly see the screen on my phone. (I turn on work mode when I work, so I don’t worry about being disturbed by the community.)
Based on the above, I roughly know what kind of things I need, and my current remote work desk layout also achieves this goal.
Introducing my desk layout! Den Leng Leng!
Screen: BenQ EX2710Q 27 inches
Since my desk doesn’t have a lot of length and width, and due to budget considerations, I didn’t buy a large size with a curved surface.
I finally bought the BenQ EX2710Q 27-inch screen. It can use HDMI to switch between two different systems, including a computer host and a laptop, and it is quite convenient to switch.
One thing I think is great is that this monitor has its own speakers, and the sound quality is pretty good, so I didn’t have to buy additional speakers at the time. It was enough for meetings or listening to music.
If you also want a screen with speakers, you can choose this one, I think it’s pretty good!

Keyboard: NuPhy Halo 96
I really want to recommend this keyboard to everyone, hahaha!
When I was at ASUS, almost every PM used a mechanical keyboard, so I was also pushed into it at that time XD
At that time, I tried green shafts and silver shafts, but neither suited me well.
Because I type very fast and loudly, using a blue switch would be scary and noisy (colleagues say it’s unpleasant to hear me typing)
In addition, the silver scroll is too easy to trigger, so for a text writer like me, if I accidentally press it, it may be typed out, and it will be troublesome to delete it repeatedly.
Finally, I saw a colleague using this keyboard, NuPhy Halo 96, and I thought it was super cute!
At that time, I felt good about borrowing it from him and trying it out, and then I decided to buy this keyboard.
The reasons why I like this keyboard very much are as follows:
- It looks cute, maybe I like the white base, but there's a little pop of color.
- The keycaps are easy to press. I bought kangaroo switches. They have some feedback but are not particularly noisy.
- It can be used between Windows and Mac systems. There are buttons on the back to switch which system you want to use, and you can also change the keycaps to differentiate. Because Windows uses ALT and Mac has different operations such as Command, I think this method is great!
Overall, I like this keyboard very much. It has been very good after using it for this year. I would like to share with you their keyboard~

Mouse: Logitech M720
I bought Logitech's M720, and I specifically chose a Bluetooth mouse that can switch between three systems. It can be connected via Bluetooth or USB.
In addition, it can also set shortcut keys. For example, I set up to copy a piece of text, and then click the shortcut key to enter ChatGPT adjustments, which is very convenient~~
My feeling when using it is that it is more suitable for girls because it is small.
Then it is more suitable for document processing, but not so suitable for playing games. There will be a little delay and it is not so smooth.
But overall I think it’s pretty good at connecting, so if you have two or three systems and want to switch, I highly recommend you use this mouse!

Video lens: Logitech Brio 300
Because I was trying to shoot YouTube videos before, I didn’t have a lens for this screen, so I bought a small video lens.
I bought Logitech's video lens Logitech Brio 300, which is advertised as having an automatic light correction function. When I used it myself, I felt it was okay, not particularly amazing, but it was quite usable.
But he has a privacy mask, which is quite important to me XD
I wonder if you have ever experienced the feeling of having to stick up the lens on your laptop every time?
As long as I put this mask down, I don't have to worry about being seen hahahaha
If you have some budget and are afraid of being overstepped, you can consider this model. At least it is an old brand, and its functions and quality are not too bad. However, it should be noted that it uses a USB type C connector, so you may want to pay attention to the motherboard. Is there any attachment!

Microphone: AM310 Black Dove High Quality USB Microphone
This is a microphone that PTT highly recommends, and I quite like using it myself. Attached are the reasons why I like it:
- It just needs to be plugged in and ready to use, which is very suitable for lazy people like me!
If you are also a 3C idiot, don’t worry about not being able to use it hahaha - It has a button to turn it on and off, so even though the virtual microphone is on during my meeting, I can press the off button on the physical microphone and my voice will not be received. This is very suitable for people who play games. For example, when I am talking to my teammates and I want to talk to my family, I can press the button first without having to go into the game to turn off the voice.
- His radio is pretty good. Sometimes I put it far away and I can still hear my voice clearly hahaha
But one drawback of this is that the microphone light is too bright XD
Not only netizens say this, but my own experience of using it is that it is really bright. Sometimes if the direction is not set properly, the light will wake me up while sleeping hahahaha, so now I always turn it to face the wall when I sleep!
But overall I quite recommend this microphone~~

Screen Stand: Shopee Laptop Cooling Stand
Recently, I participated in a seasonal project for a foreign company, and they sent me a laptop. I will need to frequently switch between my computer host and this laptop.
Well, I am currently using this laptop as an extended screen, so I need a screen stand to make it easier to read.
I found a relatively cheap screen stand from Shopee. Although it is not particularly stable, it can support the Acer computer and my own MacBook Pro.
It can adjust the height of your stand through the hole on the back, but because it is cheap, it is not particularly stable.
But overall it is quite easy to use. If you have budget considerations, you can take a look at this screen stand.

Mobile phone holder: Shopee aluminum alloy mobile phone holder
As mentioned earlier, I now use the Tomato Clock to manage my work tasks, so I need a place where I can clearly see my phone.
I bought a mobile phone holder that is cheap but quite useful.
The height of this mobile phone holder can be adjusted and it can also be rotated against the base. Unfortunately, there is no way to place the mobile phone horizontally.
But this is quite enough for me, because I just want him to stand and watch the tomato clock time~~

MacBook Pro Hub
Finally, I would like to recommend it to everyone. I bought a MacBook Pro hub myself. What is a Hub? He is a hub.
Anyone who owns a MacBook should know that it has several fatal shortcomings: there are no USB holes or HDMI connectors, and there are not many socket locations.
That's because I need to plug in HDMI and also want to install a Bluetooth mouse so that I can switch more conveniently, so I bought this hub.
I think this hub is pretty good. It has two more type Cs, one HDMI and two USBs, so you can charge it while plugging in other devices.
The USB specification he gave is also good, not the basically slow one, and I can install the USB head of the Bluetooth mouse here.
So if you also want to expand your MacBook Pro, it is recommended to buy this hub!

in conclusion
OK! The above is the decoration of my remote work desk. I hope this computer desk decoration can bring inspiration to everyone.
