Long Post

How to operate Threads? Instead of writing one hit article, it’s better to write 100 articles!

Threads 要怎麼經營?與其寫爆文,不如寫滿 100 篇!

Many people asked me: "How can I get more people to see my posts on Threads? How can I run Threads?"

To be honest, I don’t have any secret to becoming a hit with just one post. If you want some earth-shattering traffic trick, I probably can't help you. But if you want to know how to slowly build your influence here and make readers accustomed to your presence, you can listen to my experience.

How to operate Threads?

Why isn't Threads a life or death article? When I first started using Threads, I also thought: "If I post a piece of content that goes viral, will my account take off?" But then I found out that this is not the rule of the game on Threads at all.

People who actually click in to read my posts don’t remember which of my posts went viral. They only remember—"Hey, this person has been writing Threads, specifically teaching everyone how to run a business."

This is why, Threads does not rely on a single post to make you famous, but relies on your accumulated 100 or 200 posts to let everyone know who you are and what you write. When you continue to appear on readers' homepages, they will begin to have an impression of you and even actively click on your page to read your content.

Writing 100 articles is more important than waiting for one article to go viral

If you are still waiting for a sudden burst of inspiration to write something earth-shattering, then I would tell you: "Don't wait, just write it!"

That's what I did at the beginning. I didn’t know how to run Threads from the beginning, but I slowly found my direction through continuous posting. After writing for a long time, I realized that many creators actually like to read about my mental journey! Well, actually many brands like to see the style of my posts on Threads.

When I wrote 50 or 100 articles, people started to remember me and knew that I was the one who taught people how to run Threads, not how to write popular posts. This also proves a simple truth: when you post enough, people will remember you.

How can I make sure I can post more consistently and not get stuck again?

If you still don’t know what to write, or you can’t keep writing after a few posts, I have a few tips to share with you:

1. Let go of perfectionism and just write first

Many people hesitate to post Threads because they think their content is not good enough, not deep enough, not attractive enough... But I tell you, no one cares!

All you have to think is: "I'm going to write an article today and record the thoughts in my mind." That's it, simple and direct. When you start writing and write for a long time, you will naturally get better.

2. Find your “topic core” and let everyone know who you are

Who do you want people to remember you as? What do you want your account to represent?

For example, I have been writing content about Threads. Over time, when people see "How to write Threads?" they will think of me. This is your personal label. When your content has a consistent direction, readers will be more likely to be impressed by you.

If you haven’t found your direction yet, here are some questions to help you:

  • What do you like to talk about most?
  • What is the most common question your friends ask you when they chat with you?
  • Do you have any special experiences that you can share with us?

Don't rush to set a very precise theme. Adjust as you write, and you will slowly find a position that suits you.

3. Instead of writing about hot products, write content that can build trust

In pursuit of traffic, some people will write exaggerated headlines and use sensational content to attract clicks, but such traffic usually disappears quickly.

What I care more about is how to make readers trust me and be willing to read my content for a long time. So I won’t write about “magic tricks to get 1,000 likes a day”, but “how to make your Threads popular and make readers remember you?”

You can think about it, instead of using one popular article to gain short-term attention, it is better to use 100 stable contents to make readers trust you, so that the influence will last long.

4. Make posting a habit, not a pressure

Some people find posting tiring because they treat it as a "task". In fact, posting shouldn’t be a painful thing, but a natural expression of what you want to share.

Try these tips to make posting a little easier:

  • Write down a small observation every day(No need for a long speech, a few sentences will do)
  • Write in a conversational style(Make the reader feel like you are chatting with them, not writing an essay)
  • Write about things that really interest you(This will give you motivation to keep writing)

Threads is a long race, write slowly and you will see growth

Many people think that community management is like a short-distance race, and you win if you can just reach the finish line. But in fact,It’s a marathon, it’s not about who runs faster, but who can run longer.

When you have accumulated 100 or 200 articles, you will find that you have unknowingly built a group of stable readers who are used to your content and will even actively come to find your posts. This is more important than a viral article because it means that you are truly influential!

So, instead of worrying about why no one saw your post, or envying others’ hot posts, ask yourself: “Did I post one today?”

If so, that's great, keep writing. When you look back, you will find that you have come a long way.
