It is also one of the well-known FMCG (fast moving consumer goods) companies. I'm glad that I got this opportunity to interview for Kimberly-Clark's E-commerce Associate/Assistant Manager position and get to know the KC company and culture better.

2021.08.16 Human resources telephone interview, about 1 hour, mainly in Chinese
2021.08.26 Human resources phone call invitation
2021.09.09 Interview with the department head, about 1 hour, mainly in Chinese
After the first interview, the supervisor mentioned that if there are requirements that are met, there will be a second interview with the department head at the end of September, and the supervisor is expected to issue an offer on 10/1.
Since I recently got another offer and needed to respond within a short period of time, I asked Kimberly-Clark if she was still interested in my application. Please contact me. The HR at KC also kindly told me at the time. I have another candidate that better meets their needs, so I stopped here. However, the overall interview and communication process with HR were satisfactory. I hope there will be opportunities for cooperation in the future~
Kimberly-Clark Interview Job Introduction
The job vacancy I applied for at that time was E-commerce Associate/Assistant Manager at Kimberly-Clark, because I regularly check the official websites of major FMCGs. I saw this from the official website of Kimberly-Clark Career, even though I only had one year of e-commerce internship. I have experience, but I found the position challenging and interesting, so I applied.
Main work content:
- Develop annual customer development plans and achieve company sales targets
- Implement the company's category development policies and balance the business expansion of each category
- Integrate company digital exposure and e-commerce consumer event arrangements
- Analyze event sales data and optimize events
- Establish good customer relationships and effectively manage channel distribution, pricing, product presentation, and event arrangements
- Manage and control channel promotion expenses to achieve maximum benefits and output
- Provide real-time feedback to customers and market information to help customers/companies achieve performance goals
Experience required
- 1–5 years of experience in FMCG or e-commerce industry
- Brand e-commerce business operation experience
- Graduated from university or master's degree
qualifications
- Applicants with experience in operating physical channels and e-commerce channels are preferred
- Applicants with channel marketing experience are preferred
- Able to actively learn new technologies and new media applications
- Good communication and negotiation skills and strong resistance to pressure
- Fluent in English listening, speaking, reading and writing
Kimberly-Clark Interview Questions
The telephone interview is conducted by HR to check the resume and background. Most of the questions will be general questions, such as talking about past internship-related experience, why you applied, whether you have e-commerce related experience, etc.
The first interview is mainly about past experience on the resume, and provides you with the questions I was asked for your reference:
- Self introduction
- What are the more important experiences in Shopee?
- Are there any frustrations in the projects that Shopee has implemented?
- Shopee’s experience in writing past SEO articles? How to write it better?
- Please describe your experience in taking on freelance cases.
- Among all the owners who have taken on the case, what experiences are special and give you a greater sense of accomplishment?
- What abilities do you think you have for this position?
Kimberly-Clark interview experience
During the phone interview, HR mentioned that freshers could also try out the position of E-commerce Associate/Assistant Manager. The supervisor also mentioned that it is a junior position and will be mainly responsible for communication, coordination and budget control of a specific platform. During the interview, I also asked employees in this department on LinkedIn, and they also mentioned that this position mainly requires the ability to do external business, communicate, or negotiate activities. The overall interview and communication process with HR were satisfactory. I am very happy to receive everyone’s help and guidance😄
